1.       Do you have soccer for beginners?

Yes, we have a ‘Soccer Tots’ league which is for girls and boys between the ages of 4 and age 6.

 

2.       When are evaluations?

Evaluations for the 2007 Season are Saturday August 4^th.

 

3.       When do practices start?

Practices will start mid August. Once evaluations are completed and all the teams are created, you will get a notification from your coach once teams have been made letting you know where and when practices will be.

 

4.       Where are practices held?

Practices are held at one of the following locations:  Hampstead Elementary, Spring Garden Elementary, North Carroll Middle, and Shiloh Middle, Hampstead Municipal Park.  You will be told where your practices will be when the coach contacts you.

 

5.       What do I need to do to get my child registered for Soccer in the Fall?

Come to Cape Horn on one of the Saturdays in which registration is held, fill out the form, and pay the registration fee.   You can also to go the web site: http://www.northcarrollsoccer.com and fill out the form, mail it in, along w/your registration fee.

 

6.       What does the registration fee provide?

Registration fee’s pay for your childs uniform and help us to maintain the fields and pay the referees, replace equipment, website fees and maintenance, NCRC fees, and general operational costs.

 

7.        Is there anything else I need to purchase for my child before he/she starts soccer in the Fall?

Yes, you will need to purchase them shin guards. It is recommended players have outdoor soccer shoes. No metal spikes or cleats allowed (baseball style).

 

8.       When do games begin?

Games will start after Labor Day.  Most games will be held on the weekends at Cape Horn Park; however, because one of the fields will be under maintenance this year, some games may need to be played on Sunday’s or weekday’s or perhaps at another school.  This has not been finalized yet.

 

9.       How much is registration and what type of payment is acceptable?

Soccer Tots fee’s is $50.  All other in-house age groups are $75.00.  Travel is $175.00.  If you are a member of the North Carroll Recreational Council then you get a $5.00 discount. Please have you NCRC ID number available.  You can contact NCRC at http://www.northcarrollrec.org

 

10.    Is there a discount if you sign up more then one child per family? 

If your family is a NCRC member then  you get a $5.00 discount per child.  That is the only discount provided.
